MORRIS HISTORY BOOK
|
Pages 1 through 43 of the Morris History Book were written by
George Baum and Wayne Graham. It was originally titled as the 1915-1980: 65 YEARS OF DEVOTION AND ACCOMPLISHMENT.
A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF MORRIS ILLINOIS ROTARY INTERNATIONAL CLUB NO. 71 In
January 1998 Stuart DeWitt, Club Secretary and Chairman of the History Committee, called
together a committeee to bring the history up to date. His record
is called
HISTORY OF THE WORLD'S FIRST SMALL TOWN ROTARY CLUB.
In the remainder of the history, each president was asked to summarize their year especially mentioning important events and activities during that year. The remainder of the work is written by each president unless he is deceased or unable to respond. In the case of no response, articles are written by other Rotarians and credit is given. It is intended that Rotarian DeWitt's work will be continued. Each President will continue to supply a record of his/her year, so the History Book is continued. RESEARCH IN THE HISTORY: To aide in the search for a particular president, the Past Presidents list has been linked to the History document to make your search easier. |
