A minimum of five peope form Morris Rotary is needed to help pass out food for We Care.  The Food Pantry Turck is scheduled to provide food for the Morris Area.  This is the truck that the Morris Rotary is sponsoring.


Morris Rotary Club Christmas Party
   The Morris Rotary Club Christmas Party will be held at Chapin’s Restaurant, 701 N. Liberty Street in Morris on Tuesday, December 11, 2007. Starting time is 6:30 P.M. Spouses or significant others are also invited. Coat and tie is required for the gentlemen and business dress for ladies.
   Please phone in your reservation and dinner menu selections to Andrea (815) 416-1132 if you didn’t sign up at the last meeting. New Officers for 2008-2009  Rotary Year will be announced. 
   Come and join in the festivities!


ROTARIANS WAIT FOR NEWS THAT THE
PROPOSED ROTARY PARK
FOR THE CITY OF MORRIS IS ACCEPTED.

   The September 5 meeting of the Morris Rotary Club was the time and place for the presentation of the proposed plan for the new Rotary Park in downtown Morris.   Liberty Street is on the far left, with the Train Depot in the upper center. 

   The Train Depot houses the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce and the Corn Festival Committee Offices.  Also located on this lot is the Morris Historical Caboose. 

   The Rotarians are waiting to hear that the plan is accepted by the City Council.
